What's New

A big two-week stretch: a fresh set of integrations, the first slice of Generative UI, an Agent Builder that finally works on-prem, automatic preview environments for every change, plus a long list of polish and fixes from across the team.

Big Features

Generative UI

We've started shipping Generative UI - agents can now render purpose-built React components (charts, forms, cards) instead of just text or markdown directly in the chat interface.

Canvas: CSV, Slides, and DOCX

Canvas keeps growing into a real document surface:

- CSV editing with a proper data grid - sortable, filterable, no manual UI wiring

- Slides (v0) - ask the agent to generate a deck and it shows up in canvas, ready to refine

- DOCX preview - drop a Word file into canvas and see it rendered inline

- Better HTML→PDF - we now use the browser's native print path, so styles and layout actually survive the export

Microsoft Teams Bot - Triggers & Bidirectional Chat

The Teams integration grew up! We added a full bot runtime with credentials, polling, threaded replies, member-added triggers, and self-message filtering - so an agent can listen to Teams conversations and reply in-thread the same way it does in Slack. New chat-message and channel-message triggers use new methods to improve latency in chat.

MCP Servers — Redesigned

The MCP servers UI got a full redesign with a shared picker popover, and the underlying protocol client was rebuilt for reuse across the product. Cleaner today, easier to extend tomorrow.

Quality of Life

Better defaults around projects and templates.

Project nodes now skip the current workflow in dropdowns and validate against direct self-references, so you can't accidentally make a project call itself. Templates show tooltips on badge avatars and default values on scheduled executions

More polished editor.

Dangling edges no longer appear when moving a node, the node menu stops mis-inserting disconnected nodes, the Selected Nodes toolbar got a copy button, and tool tooltips show their tool name in read-only mode. Profile pictures are squared, and the analytics page is more legible in dark mode.

Knowledge Base.

Pinned folders stay visible regardless of filters or pagination.

Connections.

Each connection row shows the connected email, Edit Credentials is available for all non-OAuth methods, and OAuth flows can prompt for user-specified fields before and after the redirect.

Bug Fixes:

  1. Triggers with uppercase header names (Zendesk On Ticket Created and friends) now match correctly

  2. Human-in-the-loop pause detection — Slack Send and Wait in trigger-invoked workflows now actually waits

  3. KB citations and document names now use Stack AI's identifiers, so cited filenames match what's in your Knowledge Base

  4. KB latency spikes caused by a deprecated metadata-filter model are gone

  5. Salesforce infinite recursion when listing certain object types

  6. MCP OAuth with refresh tokens disabled now works; PKCE compatibility also restored

  7. Send HTTP Request now accepts array request bodies

  8. Excel: Data to Table accepts a variable input for sheet_name; Create Table returns the created table name

  9. Bedrock image transport — image URLs are converted to base64 before send

  10. Parallel tool calls in the OpenAI Responses API now resolve correctly

  11. SharePoint thread-safety fix for async operations

  12. Outlook search optimized to avoid timeouts

  13. HubSpot Search Deals — fixed 415 error and query input validation

  14. Canvas — corrected CSV rendering, fixed file uploads, and stopped CSS from being stripped in HTML iframes

  15. Terminal — stderr warnings hidden when commands succeed

  16. Microsoft Teams dropdowns — channel and chat selectors now react to dependent fields

  17. Trigger creation restored for orgs who had previously seen issues

  18. JSON copy strips external quotes when copying JSON values from outputs
