Mid-July Product Update

We’ve introduced a variety of enhancements to the Stack AI platform.

These include features like Chat-with-Workflow, using Workflow Evaluators, new Node functionalities, MFA, and more.

Let’s dive into the changes.

Chat with Workflow

Now you can chat with your workflow to ask questions and get a better understanding of how it works, and discuss improvement ideas in natural language so that our agent can assist you.

Workflow Evaluator

We’ve enabled a new tab, Evaluator, where you can setup and evaluate your workflow with sample inputs and (optionally) expected outputs.

You can enable or disable access to the workflow evaluator via feature flags as an org. admin.

Skip Node

To enhance the workflow builder experience, we’ve added capabilities to Skip or Replace Node. Use Skip Node when you’d like to test a workflow without running all of the nodes.

Replace Node

Use Replace Node to save some time from deleting & re-adding nodes.

Magic Wand to Refine Prompts

Write down a few lines with instructions for your AI Assistant and use the Refine Prompt feature to improve it.

Download Slides

Improving upon our recent tool to Create Slides, we’ve now added capabilities to Download Slides in .pdf or .pptx.

Multi-factor Authentication

As an admin, you can now choose to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) via our feature flags dashboard. If enabled, it enforces users to authenticate with another device before logging in.

Helper lines in Workflow Builder

We’ve added snappy lines to make it easier to add nodes in a cleaner and linear way in our Workflow Builder.

Sharepoint Pages

We’ve expanded our integration with SharePoint so that Pages (often news posts) can also be added to a Knowledge Base on top of files. Now, you will see two directories for each site: Site Files, and Site Pages.

Improvements to Image Node

You can now directly upload multiple images via the Image input node. Optionally, you can enable OCR so that a vision model converts them into text description, or by default keep them as URLs to pass to other nodes in your workflows

SQL files via Files node

We've added SQL as a supported file extension that you can directly upload via the Files node.

File manipulation

Manipulate files in your workflows and combine them with actions like Send Email to include them as attachments in your emails.

Better search for LLM tools

Knowledge Bases can now be added under new LLM section

Add Knowledge Bases and Tools to an LLM node via new dropdown

Pro tip: reference tools in the prompt by typing @, and nodes like Knowledge Bases with /

Create and manage custom tools

You can now create, edit, and delete custom tools in your LLM Node.

Reindex one file

You can now reindex specific files within Knowledge Bases.

Improved UX for adding and searching actions & triggers

Use Shift+A, Shift+T and search through actions and triggers respectively

Advanced form improvements

We're adding more features to our advanced form to enable more customization options.

Use multiple columns with dropdown, radio, or checkboxes

Insert tables to work with rows and columns

Lock project

You can now lock & unlock projects from the Projects dashboard.

Usage token limits

Create daily token limits per project and per user via the Usage tab.

Enable MFA

As an admin, enable MFA at an organization level so users are required to use an authenticator before logging in.

Copy & paste Nodes across Projects

MCP [BETA]

We’ve enabled a beta version of our MCP server integration for power users. Connect it with public MCP servers, and get their available tools dynamically.
