In short, Writer is primarily cloud-only, which limits its adoption in environments with strict data control rules. StackAI’s willingness to be deployed on-premises or in a customer’s VPC (virtual private cloud) shows its commitment to meet enterprises where they are. However, it doesn’t provide the same variety of ready-made interface modalities. If you wanted a form-based Q&A app or a scheduled batch process using Writer’s AI, you’d likely have to build that logic yourself outside of Writer.
